Is it summer yet???  

That is probably the most frequently asked question in our house at the moment.  We have really taken a beating this winter, but we are feeling hopeful as the pages on the calendar keep turning.  It can't stay cold forever, right?  

February and March roared thru New York City with record low temperatures...at first, we decided to embrace it and even drove further north to Vermont for a quick ski trip.  After that record breaking cold weekend in New England, we spent March doing what we do best: searching for sun.  Below, a couple of our favorite memories (some warmer than others!) from the past couple of months.  

February

A drive to Vermont landed us right in the middle of a snow storm and record breaking low temperatures.  In spite of the icy cold weather, we still managed to enjoy a little country life and even hit the slopes (bunny slopes, that is) for a little fun.

March

We finally found the sun!  A quick weekend in Fisher Island, Florida thawed our chilly little fingers and toes, and left us wanting more! 

And then it was back to the Eskimo gear...

A week later, I took my first girl trip since my son was born to Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic.  Much needed silliness and relaxation abounded on this quick, two day trip with my oldest New York City girlfriends.  We have been thru everything together and it was such treat to spend a little time with them.
